For some people it can be difficult to gain easy and appropriate access when they need it to primary care services – GPs, pharmacists, opticians and dentists. Lambeth CCG would like to understand the problems people have in accessing primary care services and we would like to work together with individuals and groups to find ways to improve patient experience.
To help improve services Lambeth CCG is holding a “Primary Care Access Event”, this Tuesday the 19th May in Brixton. The event starts at 6 pm and finishes at 8 pm.
During the event there will be an open discussion about:
- what works well
- what difficulties people have in contacting their GP (either during opening hours or in the evenings and at weekends)
- what GP Practices, pharmacists, opticians and dentists could do differently to make it easier for people to use their surgery and get what they need
If you’re aged over 18yrs old and interested in sharing your views on how to improve services, please contact Andrew Eadie at the Well Centre for more details about the event and to book your place.
